Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, on the 5th of December, 1991 in North Carolina. He is the child of Manny James, along with Patty James of mixed race. He has his Nigerian father and a Caucasian woman. His father is Nigerian, and his mother caucasian American. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in the year 2015. James became famous when he made his on-screen debut as a reality star in The Bachelorette. The show's creators chose him in 2020 to play the 25th season bachelor of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The series premiered in on the 20th of January in. James is a great fit to be the lead because is tall, beautiful and humorous. Rachael Krakconnell who James chose as his partner for the rest of the season. He was paired with the famous professional dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold came in 12th place.
