Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. She is famous for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost television show. Her birthplace was Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school after her parents separated to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first role as Rachel's Room's main character the online video show Rachel's Room in 2001. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. The show featured her as the principal role for two seasons, and won an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award.
